I don't mean to be an asshole here but I don't think you can sign all of those guys like that.  I mean, that's like 200 bucks total.  I'm not sure they'll go for it.

Plus pretty sure Marcus Allen is retirement age.  He's like 65 years old.  And he's a RB.  Can he even play LB?

Back to the drawing board bub.

The salary cap is suppose to go up for this next year giving us room. And cutting Clark and Hitchens and not resigning Matthieu created more space as well. Not to mention guys like Blythe and Remmers that will also come off the books. I know Remmers was around $6 million.

also Marcus Allen is a safety that played at penn state. He is 6’2” 220. The Steelers turned him into a LB already. He is a long athletic kid that plays well over TEs.
thanks for trying though, bub.

One huge problem you didn’t resign Brown or tag him.   That’s $20 million in a tag or a lesser amount on a long term deal but looks like you used all 64 million we could create with the other spending.

My bad I meant to resign him. I’m hoping he will sign around 17 or 18 a year.

with the cutting off Clark and Hitchens and not resigning guys like okafor, Remmers, and Blythe and with the raise in the cap I think we can make it work. I’m not a cap specialist so I’m not totally sure. But we can back load some deals to ease the hit this year. Then hopefully some of the draft picks and young guys can start replacing guys like Ingram.

a guy like Thuney could be tradable also if we felt Niang would be a split guard like originally thought. I know that isn’t popular but he is making tackle money at guard. And is 32. This would be after next year or the year after.

Thuney is 29 and a beast. I doubt he'll be declining within the next couple years so he's worth his keep IMO. Can't have enough stud linemen.

I agree. I was way off on his age. My bad.
he is a stud you are right. But if financially we are tight he might be an option to trade. But I wouldn’t do it with out an option or plan in place

Overthecap.com has a cap calculator.  Just an FYI.  I can't seem to paste links right now.   Just click on interactive in the top menu button.

Here's just 2 moves, cut Hitch and designate Clark as post June cut

Mahomes dead cap is 92 million.  So no help there 😕

Has a 27 mil roster bonusthis year that could be converted easily to signing bonus and spread over 5 years, due to the length of the contract.

Just an FYI for everyone
