Recommended Posts

1(21) – Chris Olave WR Ohio St 6’1” 189lbs

-trade 29 and 94 to NE for 21.

Elite speed, elite route runner. Inside or outside, best from the slot.

2(48) –Travis Jones DT Uconn 6’4” 326lbs

-trade 30 to Chi for 48 and 71.

1-tech, good run defender, can push the pocket on passing downs.

2(50) – Cameron Thomas EDGE San Diego St 6’4” 264lbs

Long, power end that Spags likes. All day long motor, good hand usage. Has ability to move inside on passing downs.

2(62) – Troy Andersen LB Montana St 6’3” 242lbs

-Draft crush. 1st round pick if he wasn’t coming from Montana St. His metrics are top of the charts. Versatile. If the medicals (shoulders) check out, this is a future all-pro.

3(71) – Calvin Austin III WR Memphis 5’9” 173lbs

-trade 30 to Chi for 48 and 71.

Speed, change of direction, sure hands, great route runner, can separate in a phone booth. Why only a 3rd rounder? Size. He is deceptively tough, though. Might sneak into the 2nd round.

3(103) – Bryan Cook S Cincinnati 6’1” 210lbs (correct)

Another guy that I pound the table for. Plus tackler, takes good angles. Can play deep, or in the slot. In the box might be his best role now, as he is still a work in progress coverage wise. But he brings the heat. Bully.

4(108) – Coby Bryant CB Cincinnati 6’1” 191lbs

-trade 121, 243, and 251 to Hou for 108

Underrated corner who can help from day one. He is a cover corner, who actually turns his head. Tracks the ball well. Only knock is he sucks at tackling. If he can fix this he is a number 2 floor guy.

4(129) – Damarri Mathis S/CB Pittsburgh 5’11” 197lbs

-trade 135 and 259 to Dallas for 129

He is a plus special teamer at the very least. Very aggressive and best at press. Probably a slot only corner.

7(233) – Ty Chandler RB North Carolina 6’0” 203lbs

Could work his way into the rotation. Has the tools, needs to put it all together. Return ability. Practice squad.

Could live with that.  I especially like Thomas, Cook, and Bryant.  Not sure that Bryant will last until the the early fourth or that Cincy would trade down 13 spots for sevenths.  Any way to work an OT into the mix, even at 129?

I was going to throw a flyer at OT.  But, Veach said that Niang is on schedule in his PC today.  Plus, they signed Wiley and the Geron Christian kid.  Prince is on the roster still.

2 7ths to move up in the 4th should suffice.
