Where's stubby at?

Interested to see what this bucko has to say about his precious Donkeys

The Denver offense is one of the most poorly coached and under-achieving I have ever laid eyes on.  Every time Russell Wilson drops back the QB in me is crying on the inside at how poorly he sees the field.

I coach all of my sons.  Two of them are QBs.  One of them is going to be really really good.  He can already run through his progressions as well as Wilson is in this offense.

Hackett's playcall is complete shit.  When your mobile QB isn't seeing the field, your RBs are not effective, and your line cannot block, the OBVIOUS move is to roll the pocket, run bootlegs, and get your QB into situations that slow the game down for him.  A good example of this is what Shanahan did with Jake Plummer, which led to a win rate of over 70%.  But none of this is happening.  It's basic.  It's so basic that it leads me to believe Hackett is in over his head.

Hackett needs to watch tape of the Shanahan's 2003-2005 offenses and replicate almost everything he sees.  If he does this, Denver will be much better.  But he won't.  At Seattle, on 4th and 1, I saw him line up in shotgun twice, failing to score on both.

The Denver defense is really good.  The Denver offense is absolute shit.  5-12 or 6-11.

No worries you can fix it all in the draft. Oh my apologies. I forgot you have no high picks for the next 2 years. So I guess that by the time you have some decent picks the defense may be mostly retired or lost in free agency. No problem Wilson will still be the QB as a complete rebuild begins. Oops my bad again. Wilson will be 36 years old by then and prepping for his next big contract at ESPN. So how do you fix this?

Donkeys Board. Reaction to Wilson trade has 1572 responses. .Over the top excitement and all how awesome the deal was blah blah blah. Broncos Rule. Greatest deal in team history. Denver will win 3 more SB in the next 5. Dynasty coming. You know the rest. LOL

No I did not read that entire thread. Saving some of it for weekly good laughs over the next 5 years or so. LOL

More on the Misery in Denver. Some paid over $300

10-07-2022, 08:49 AM
went to the game last night and all of us Bronco fans were talking about how this is the quietest most subdued we have ever seen the stadium and that was in the first half. It was a fun game but only because it was like everyone was supporting each other in misery. I have never seen anything like it and I have been to plenty of games. The stadium at one point started chanting go San Diego when the Broncos offense were on partly in jest to the ref but in part making fun of the offense and trying to find any fun in that game. It truly was sad.

Dude. You're a disaster porn junkie.

It's like when a whale carcass sinks to the bottom of the sea and all those hagfish, crabs and assorted scavengers descend upon it, gnawing away, piece by piece, until there are only the bones lying on the seabed. Carrion eaters.

When the Broncos start winning again, you'll drift away, waiting for another loss, when you can return again and feed.

Most Broncos fans are miserable about what's going on with the team. You're celebrating.

It's sad.  The division is much better and more interesting when Denver is strong.  I remember when the Chiefs were the ones suffering.  But then we went and fixed it all by drafting Blackledge.

Its sad alright. LOL  Misery in Denver Ha Ha.

Dude, I'm a grown adult with children, wife, and employees.  I don't have the time to stress or worry about a football team full of a bunch of overpaid millionaires that I have zero control over.  The only games I am emotionally invested are the ones my 7th grader QBs every week for his school.

The Denver Broncos will either sink or swim on their own merits and effort.  If they sink, it's more rebuilding.  If they swim, Denver will become competitive.

Like any business, you learn from and correct the fuckups of the past, you make the most logical decisions you can in the present, and you set reasonable goals for the future.

John Elway passed on both Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in the draft.  He hired horrible coach after horrible coach, and then stuck with them.  He left the team in a mediocre-at-best position.  Only the most dumbass of Denver fans were talking about a playoff run this season, even IF Wilson/Hackett had their shit together.

The Kansas City Chiefs went 20 years without a playoff win not that long ago.  Shit happens.  Bad management happens.

Denver will be fine.  It's just a matter of how long they will suck until they no longer suck.

Ok, I'll play:

1)  Play out this season, see if Hackett gets his shit together.

2a)  If he steadies the ship, stay the course.

2b)  If he doesn't, fire his ass.

From there it's just a matter of managing the team logically.

I loooooove the Broncos misery! I've been living in the hell hole known as Colorado Springs for 30 yrs, and the last 6 yrs has been pure BLISS!

I don't have any mercy for any Donkey fan because they never had mercy on me!!

If the Broncos played Satin himself I guess I'd be going to hell,, cause I would never root for them. Hahahahah!Hahaha haha!!

The thing I love is going back and watching all the pundits who drooled on themselves explaining why every team in the West but the Chiefs was going to win the division. At least Rich Eisen had the balls to admit he missed it and should "never doubt the Chiefs ". All the others?.....eh. Excuses, excuses.

I get it’s donk country... but Colorado Springs is not hell. It’s one of the most beautiful towns in the nation. I’d move there in a heartbeat if my kids and grandkids were there

I love all the enthusiastic conclusions about all of this, but I believe we ought to win tomorrow and next week before getting that excited.  We could easily lose both....then what will you be saying?  Don't want to be a downer, but sometimes too much upper leads to the biggest downer of all.
