The same thing could happen against the Raiders if we do the same stupid shit. Was a major fluke game. Chiefs were clearly looking forward to the Bucs game, as evident Sunday night In the long run, it will turn out to be a good thing for a variety of reasons, mostly because our players and coaches will be on the lookout for that mindset and prevent a lazy attitude like it's the plague which might save us a loss or two. It also might lead some teams to try to duplicate Indy's "game plan," which would be fine. I do disagree that it had anything to do with the Bucs. It might have something to do with having 10 days to prepare for Indy, allowing the players more time off and the coaches to think they "have plenty of time." There has to be a more urgent feeling on a team to keep an aggressive attitude. OR, this post could all be bullshit, and it was just a matter of dropping punts, missing passes, and talking shit to a QB after a sack.

No way to find out, but is it possible that the Chiefs played well against the Bucs BECAUSE they blew the Colts game?

jetlord 10,207
Not only did the Geldings (Thanks, Bil) blow the game, they lost two starters for the rest of the season "Let's overpay for Wilson and compete with the big boys, What could go wrong? Let's ride" Man O man.

xen 1,010,219
Never forget. The new GM's biggest 2 decisions so far were hiring Hackett as HC and trading for Wilson. I thought they couldn't do worse than Elway as GM but I'm big enough to admit when I'm wrong
