CranjisMcbasketball 780 Posted September 23, 2022 Share Posted September 23, 2022 my understanding is Marcus Peters was kinda "his guy" and him and John Dorsey were tied together in pushing to bring in a lot of questionable character draft picks. After that Clark Hunt decided he didn't want him involved in the organization. Which is why he wasn't a candidate to replace Dorsey as GM and Brett Veach was promoted to GM even though Ballard was technically higher up the food chain.
