Trent Williams back just in time. He’s the best lineman in football. That guy does things at his size no one should be able to. If you thought the pass rush was absent on that side last week , just wait.

oh and nick bosa back too folks.

kc better be awake from the start.

I hope the run defense is cleaned up this week because they are relentless

outside of the chiefs, this is the team I know the most about.

Deebo gets the love but Ayuik is a stud. Obviously they have Kittle. Outside of qb, they have the deepest roster in the nfl. They’ve been ravaged by injuries.

Outside of QB, Denver also has a super deep roster.  It's about the QB.

All the better when we crush them.

On Saturday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that they are activating linebacker Willie Gay Jr. to their roster in advance of their Week 7 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. But the team is not choosing to activate injured cornerback Trent McDuffie for this game.

What’s the deal with not activating McDuffie? I guess no live game action and we have bye after this game? Not sure. He is a upgrade over Williams.

I’m not sure how everyone is feeling about this game but I’m pretty nervous.
We need a great mistake free game in all 3 phases. If we don’t turn the ball over we are are very difficult team to beat. I hope we don’t.

If we play balanced offense and actually attempt a run game we are nearly impossible to defeat.

Chiefs organization has always erred on the side of caution (at least under Reid). Every team has to deal with injuries. But I bet if you look over the course of the past 5-10 years, the Chiefs probably are on the lesser end of devastating injuries to key players. I'm okay with them holding McDuffie out if they just want to make sure he is 100%.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Isiah Pacheco will start in Week 7 against the 49ers.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who has operated as the Chiefs' top back through the season's first month and a half, "will still play a key role on offense," per Rapoport. KC's offense will include a "splash" of Jerick McKinnon as a pass-catching specialist, he added. Pacheco's pass-blocking prowess has reportedly stood out to Kansas City coaches in recent weeks. Coming into the NFL, Pacheco was known as an excellent blocker and has shown as much in limited game action this season. Pacheco, who leads Chiefs running backs in yards after contact per carry, should be treated as a low-end RB2 play against San Francisco. He'll be somewhat touchdown dependent since he's unlikely to see much pass-catching work in the pass-heavy Chiefs offense.

question.. Pach's Pass Blocking prowess being a contributing factor in a game in which we should run the ball more often? That doesn't comfort me but I do like it that Pach is gaining a bigger look see and now we need RoJo in the back field at least on short yardage and Goal lines.

Well this flies in the face of Reid won't start rookies or is loyal to vets.

Perhaps. LOL Lets see how many plays he actually is in. Committee? Like the guy hope he does well. Still need the oline to open holes against a really good SF dline and defense as a whole.

Niners 21 Chiefs 17. Niner defense is real and features a terrific pass rush. The Niners will run it and keep running it. Even Gimmy G can work the KC secondary. Will be celebrating if I am WRONGO.

Wow, niners are banged up and we still have Mahomes.

All the nfl teams treat playing KC as if its the superbowl, now to the point of trading away entire drafts to bring in often injured running backs ahead of their game.

on a serious note im officially worried about mcduffie, he has only played a handful of snaps and suffered a concussion and a lengthy hamstring. Another injury anytime soon and he will officially be in the injury prone player category

Good points. They are getting some guys back like BOSA. Chiefs still have protection issues, rookie CBs available, no real pass rush and may be over rated against the run. The more film teams get on rookies the better they can exploit them. If SF runs it then KC offense will be on the sidelines much of this game. That does not work for most teams because they fall behind and the KC offense moves the ball taking up time. Not so sure KC will move it easily against SF. Its not an ideal match up with the Chiefs injuries.

I think Bosa is not 100% amd they are rushing him back in to soon. We will see how he does.
