Chiefs vs Jags game day thread.

I know a lot of you will disagree, but I still think the Chiefs should mix in CEH in the passing game and some runs. Having said that. Pacheco is the man, and should be starting. I just think it's going to take everyone getting involved if the Chiefs want to win it all. I think CEH has his moments and don't want the Chiefs to give up on him totally this season.

CEH is definitely done as a starter on this team.

I sure thought that Veach must have been onto something when he took an RB in the first round.  But it was an obvious mistake. I have supported the decision until now, and it looks like the coaches have, also.  Veach has done so many good things, but CEH apparently was NOT one of them. Mahomes sure thought it was a good move at the time.

no foul for roughing the passer.

Hopefully, the league will not agree with the refs.  Cisco needs to be fined big time.  Those were obviously intentional and can change the victim's life permanently, often later after football. Juju was completely defenseless before that hit. It was not a tackle.  Cisco came in high, and it had to be for that purpose. He will no doubt deny it, but it looked undeniable to me.

I'm loving me some karlaftis also.

How many times do we need to be taught, and I'm including myself, that just because a rookie doesn't light it up his first few games, he isn't necessarily a bust?  Saunders is coming around.  Williams is looking like a player.  Pacheko is learning.  Karlafis is learning on the fly.  Crenal is starting to contribute.  So lets cut Moore some slack and who knows, Kinnard may be starting three years down the road.  DJ took three years.

I remember the belly aching right here: complaints that KC should have chosen whatshisname who went to the Chargers, who had a couple of good years and then imploded, instead of DJ. And then DJ developed into DJ and all that ceased.

It's only half a season and the rookies are coming along quite nicely. Maybe Moore will blow up next year, maybe not. Either way, it takes time.
