Twitter is filled with people claiming the game should be cancelled. It’s not my intention to be insensitive, but that’s easy to say for people who don’t have millions on the line.  If this game doesn’t resume, are advertisers going to pay espn for the exposure they didn’t get?  Is espn going to want money off of its tv deal with the league to compensate them for what they would have to compensate the advertisers for?  What about the bengals?  Do they have to refund tickets if the game isn’t played?   It’s a terrible situation, but continued calls to just cancel it are shortsighted. Hopefully dude is ok and none of that matters.

If the Bills players refuse to take the field, which is likely until they know his condition, the game is cancelled.

However many millions you lose you take that hit vs the the media shitstorm from fans and players by sending them back out there.

Possible.  How is it handled at that point?  If it’s a pure cancel, that puts buffalo in the 2 seed, and eliminates Baltimore from contention for their division.

If the Bills cancel, is that considered a forfeit?  Not that it matters in the long run but wondering how the league will handle it.

The Bengals would almost certainly cancel as well. If both teams cancel there can't be a forfeit in either's favor.

It’s all a guessing game at this point.  Never has this happened so let’s see.

A no contest would be as bad as a loss for buffalo , bc they’d be a game back in the win column.
