It’s not my intention to be insensitive, but that’s easy to say for people who don’t have millions on the line. If this game doesn’t resume, are advertisers going to pay espn for the exposure they didn’t get? Is espn going to want money off of its tv deal with the league to compensate them for what they would have to compensate the advertisers for? What about the bengals? Do they have to refund tickets if the game isn’t played? It’s a terrible situation, but continued calls to just cancel it are shortsighted. Hopefully dude is ok and none of that matters. Possible. How is it handled at that point? If it’s a pure cancel, that puts buffalo in the 2 seed, and eliminates Baltimore from contention for their division.
