Atlanta or new Orleans probably.   NFC teams so no allegiance towards either side. Both places have hosted big events so the city can handle a big influx of people and both have been SB city's.  Indy is out aa Lucas oil is being used that weekend

Indianapolis has scheduling conflicts with the Indy convention center booked. A national volleyball tournament expected to draw as many as 30,000 visitors to town will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium. The city has peak hotel room occupancy exceeding 7,000 rooms that weekend.

Earlier this week, the league asked Colts executives about hosting the game on either Jan. 28 or Jan. 29, per the report, but Indianapolis quickly answered Lucas Oil Stadium is unavailable.

Chiefs Wire

Chiefs abstained from voting on AFC playoff changes for 2022

When NFL owners met to vote for the approval of Resolution G-1, Kansas City Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt was among the few to abstain from voting on the proposal.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Chiefs decided to abstain from voting on the playoff changes because they felt the teams directly impacted shouldn’t vote due to potential bias. The Cincinnati Bengals are presumed to be among the teams to have voted “no” to the proposal after executive vice president Katie Blackburn pushed back against it.

Blackburn’s qualm with the proposal was simple — voting to make this change during the season introduces bias into the equation.

“The proper process for making rule change (sic) is in the off-season,” Blackburn wrote, via ESPN. “It is not appropriate to put teams in a position to vote for something that may introduce bias, favor one team over another or impact their own situation when the vote takes place immediately before the playoffs.”

It appears that the Chiefs agreed with Blackburn’s concerns.

According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the proposal passed with 25 “yes” votes. It needed just 24 votes in order to pass. Florio says that three to four teams voted “no” and that the rest abstained from voting.

Clark did the right thing.

I'll disagree.  I'd have been pissed if he had voted in favor of the changes, but at least that required balls.  Abstaining just reaffirms the weak kneed PC world we live in, afraid to offend.   Taking no position is taking a position.

Do we have a sense of who we would play if we end up with one seed? What about if we are two seed?
I know the last wild card is up for grabs and could be pats, dolphins or Steelers.

One seed:  Winner of LAC/Jags-Titans.  Jags are favored to win their division so should play the Chargers.  With east coast home field and the results of the first meeting this year, that's not an easy game for the Chargers.  The Chargers are on a roll and have healthy weapons now so it's hard to predict.  The Chiefs playing the Chargers for a third time will be very tough.  The good news is that the Bills and Cincy would have to play each other to get to the Chiefs and do it without the bye week.

Two seed:  Probably MIA, but could be the Steelers, NE, or even the Jags if they lose today.  Next round would probably be Cincy at home and the Bills at a neutral site.
