oldtimer 8,684
Sad.. even sadder he was not in the HOF decades ago. Now watch the HOF will induct him after it's too late. I remember him catching a 1 handed TD pass right in front of me at the old Municipal Stadium vs the Redskins whom IIRC where undefeated that time. It was a thing of beauty! qnet, mex and West 2

bamaroyal 87
He was truly one of the greatest of his era. When he went after Ben Davidson for the cheap shot on Dawson, that forever cemented his place in my heart and mind. RIP. qnet 1,150
Saw it on Instagram. I was too young to watch or remember him with the Chiefs, like some of you. I just remember him from those great NFL films highlights from SB VI. RIP

Just about everything Otis did was a thing of beauty! Especially when he nailed that guy for the late hit on Lenny. I remember watching that game and cheering him on! He should have been a 1st round vote HOF.
dhitter 1,424
When I was a kid playing backyard football I always pretended I was Otis Taylor. My favorite Chief from that era. He deserves to be in the HOF. May he RIP.

He would have been "Lenny the decent" or maybe "Lenny the OK." Last season would have been our second super bowl victory, not our third. oldtimer
