Everybody uses that term, but all it is are the arm length doubled plus the width of the shoulders.  But what does that shoulder width really add to the metric?  Nothing significant really.

It just describes us as if we are birds or maybe bats.  I guess its ok for a Raven or a Cardinal or an Eagle or a Falcon.  Actually, that's quite a few.  Nevermind.
