Semo Mock 2.0

Recommended Posts

1(31) - Anton Harrison OT Oklahoma 6'4" 315lbs

He has the prototypical size, length and athleticism to play tackle in the NFL.  Has room to grow and needs to clean up some footwork issues.

2(41) - Keion White EDGE Georgia Tech 6'5" 285lbs

Trade 63, 95, and 2024 3rd round pick to Tenn for 41.  Veach moves up to draft a physical freak that could be a game wrecker for a decade in KC.  Raw as hell and needs to put it all together.  Versatility to play inside or out.  One of my favorites prospects this year.

4(122) - Ronnie Bell WR Michigan 6'0" 191lbs

Good route runner and YAC ability.  Return ability.

4(134) - Tyjae Spears RB Tulane 5'10" 201lbs

Very similar back to McKinnon.  Could be a good change of pace for Pacheco.  Third down back.

5(166) - Moro Ojomo DE/DT Texas 6'3" 292lbs

Tweener, rotational lineman who can play inside or outside.

6(178) - Riley Moss CB Iowa 6'1" 193lbs

Has the size that KC likes at corner.  Special teamer that could compete for defensive snaps also.

6(217) - Daniel Scott S California 6'1" 208lbs

Special teams.  Developmental nickel.

7(249) - Deslin Alexandre EDGE Pitt 6'4" 280lbs

Versatile, developmental EDGE.  Raw.

7(250) - Nikko Remigio WR Fresno St 5'11" 185lbs

Development WR/Specialist

Good mock seems.

Not sure they'll take a RB with their 4th tho... RBs are plentiful and cheap.

4. CB

5. S

6. DT

7. TE

Hell, Crow wants us to take on in the 1st.  Veach is going to be too gun shy to do that after the CEH fiasco.

Any time on day 3 is fine to take one and KC has few holes.

I have no idea who they’ll take but we know their needs. Will they go OT and EDGE, or will they go BPA? Gonna be interesting.

BPA at position of need, possibly trading up for targeted players.

Honestly even in round 3 is fine with me if it's the right guy.  Every time I see Achane drop to 3 I go for it.

I actually had a similar sim the other day.

Bell is a guy I had pegged a while back as a Reid WR. I know the Chiefs met with him too.

Aint no way Riley Moss falls to the 6th round. I think his floor is the 3rd.

Yes, Gibbs is the rarest of rare RBs I'd take in the 1st round and that's because of his receiving abilities. I do think Gibbs could convert to WR. Normally it's day 3 for me.

I wouldn't champion for any other RB in this draft on before day 3. There will be a ton of quality backs available then. Good receiving backs that can run like Gibbs are exceptionally rare. Alvin Kamara was the last one but he's nowhere near as fast as Gibbs.

The only other guys I really want early besides Benton and Gibbs are Rice and Foskey. I'm okay with Harrison but I think if you're going that route why not take the kid from BYU, Freeland, in the 2nd? That'd be my preference.
