Every single GM in the history of the league has as many misses as hits, assuming he lasts more than a couple years. Veach is ahead of the curve and on a heater, but is bound to have more misses in the future. That's just how it works. CP had some amazing drafts... singlehandedly brought us out of the basement and built us into a perennial playoff team. But CP had some COLOSSAL fucking busts. IIRC he was about 50/50 in the first round, but that included 3 Hall of Famers. You can't win them all. Sooner or later Veach will have a few busts. Just hoping they are few and far between.
