Okiechief1 425 Posted August 7, 2023 Share Posted August 7, 2023 Their isn't many players left from the 1st SB team with Mahomes and Reid in fact i think its just Kelce Mahomes and CJ as the major contributers. Retooling the team while winning the division and hosting the AFCCG on annual is pretty damn good. Call it luck call it whatever you want, maybe Veach has a horseshoe in his office maybe he sleeps with a rabbits foot and a horseshoe under his pillow or has voodoo dolls that he uses at his discretion. Don't really care i just want him to keep doing what he is doing which is put a contender on the field and he has done and has more success in the last 5 years than any other team in the league. Well technically veach did plan ahead and extended him in 2020 for 4 years. He is still under contract and they are working on a 2nd extension. Kind of this, although Veach has only had 6 offseasons to operate, a healthy dose of the 2019 SB team was Dorsey's roster, and the key cogs of Jones, Kelce, and Mahomes were drafted by Dorsey. So, there's a touch of luck that Ev touches on in that he didn't have to find all the parts, he's had a lot of maintenance.
