Mahomes isn't Grbac and Bushele hasn't shown that he can be Gannon yet. It's a numbers game and two QBs with one on the PS was the outcome. jetlord 10,207
Wonder how long Mike Caliendo and Cam Jones stick with the team. Dickerson will be here only as long as Jones holds out. JMHO.
sith13 1,746
I expected Prince to stay as the return man. Surprised to see Buechele leave, I'm guessing he could come back to the PS but since he couldn't make the roster after so many years I think it's time for another project player to groom. West 6,713
Lots of suprises for me....we seemingy picked the "known" vs the "upside"... There is " a lot of Andy" in the roster keepers.

We'll have a better picture after the practice squad is announced. Veach is having to be a little shifty to keep the final squad he wants. Still not sure why they needed six LBs. Lamardirts 2,114
I'm not a CEH fan but RB's who flashed a little vs 3rd and 4th stringers on bad teams doesnt necessarily mean they are keepers. CEH is pretty mid but he has produced in the league when healthy. I think Perine is a great PS back that can move up to the active roster if needed. I liked Perine but rb's are a dime a dozen these days and when top notch rbs aren't getting big deals I think that position is the safest one to try and sneak a guy on the PS. oldtimer

NFL practice squad salaries There are two separate brackets that the NFL uses to determine practice squad salaries. They are broken up into players with two or fewer seasons in the NFL, and then those considered NFL veterans. Players who have accrued two or fewer NFL seasons are paid weekly at a fixed rate. The salary is set at $12,000 in 2023, but is going to increase each year throughout the rest of the current CBA. DieHard 2,061
I like how the PS is shaping up. I too was surprised at some of the cuts, but these guys are not Fing around. They are acting like champs trying to repeat and not gambling on potential. Let’s rock this. Jones or no Jones, they are trying to defend a title.
