That sucks.

They are going to get nailed too on the injury reporting.

Supposedly they had a video of him at practice earlier in the week, with a soft cast on and nothing was on the report. He may have tried to play through the injury.

Packers beating Chargers today was nice. Raiders lose too. Hopefully Jets win against Buffalo. Now I am rooting for Vikings against the Broncos tonight.

The football Gods have been kind to us so far.

Yep, if the Vikes hang on tonight, the Chiefs will have made up a lot of lead while taking 15 days off.  Except for PHL, the Chiefs will be solid favorites for all their remaining games.  Just have to avoid the Denver game type let downs.

Denver is the Jets of the Afc west. They wait and play for turnovers. That's the only way they can win. HATE'EM

Not much to look forward to next weekend.  Donks at HOU and, of course, KC at GB are about the only meaningful games affecting the Chiefs.  At this time, it seems that a 13-4 record could get HFA since the Chiefs have head to head wins over MIA and JAX while BAL has three conference losses.  Still lots of season to go and it's unlikely any team will win out. .

Baltimore's defense is for real... they had the Bolts shut down. If we meet them in the playoffs, it will be an interesting game to say the least.

Yeah, it's very possible that BAL and KC will be the top two seeds.  Which is #1 is a toss up.  Barring major upsets, which always seem to happen, BAL has the tougher remaining schedule but they'll be favored in all but one game.  KC has to avoid upsets and take care of BUFF.  It will be just as interesting as last season's final weeks.

Will Baltimore even make it to the AFC  championship game? For a team that should win in the playoffs, they seem to do shit.

The same could have been said about the Chiefs until five years ago and then they went on a five year AFCCG streak.  Every team has to have a breakout year sometime.  LJ8, Allen, and Herbert can't all be permanent chokers.

Well yes, yes they can. Think Zac, Romo, hell Marino even after his start to his career... also funny, Mahomes has started his career about the same time as all these guys too.

It's a little surprising that Herbert hasn't done better so far, but that's probably the fault of LAC coaching and management.  There's just so many capable QBs in the AFC right now and except for Rogers, all are not at their peaks yet.  Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, LJ8, Lawrence, Herbert, Tua, and now Stroud.  They can't all make the playoffs in any one year, much less go to the SB.  Some will be labeled "can't win the big one" but there's just too much competition for all to reach the top.

I hope the LAC keep their head coach. I think he will be let go this year though.

Defenses also have a role in a QB not being able to win the big one... see Trent Green.

Didn't help the bolts last night with Bosa up in the suites eating raisin bran with a cast on his hand

Agree that with at least eight QBs in the AFC capable of winning, the defense will make the difference.  We are lucky that the Chiefs finally have a good one and it's young enough to expect it to remain so for a while.

So my crystal ball has it all figured out.  BAL, JAX, and KC all finish at 13-4 and KC gets the tie breakers.  MIA gets the fourth seed and T. Hill gets to shoot off his mouth about how much better his team is that the SB winning Chiefs when they come to Arrowhead in late Jan.  🙂
