Not sure why teams aren't interviewing him for head coaching positions. But I ain't complaining about it, either.

Shhhh. Don’t tell them. They think only offensive coaches can win.

I just don't get it....Spags doesn't get mentioned.  Straight hate for KC from the pundits.

However, the NFL is eating it up!!

Coach of the year awards are always dumb.  It's not about who did the best job its about who did the best job after we expected them to suck.

Well, we used to expect the Chiefs' defense be below average for a number of Andy years.  Spags turned it around along with some nifty drafting by Veach.  How many points have the Chiefs given up in the second half of the three playoff games this year?

41 total points across 3 games.  Average of 13.67 ppg.

Thanks.  It seems that teams panic on offense when they're behind in games they should be winning.  Allen and Jackson both got away from their strongest abilities.  I'll give Tua a pass because of the weather.  Last week the Raven fan boards were crowing about how they killed teams in the second half.  Yesterday had to be a big disappointment.

That's good, but the way the Chiefs shut down playoff teams in the second halves is classic.

Absolutely.  And amazing. But they do still count points scored in the first half of games towards the outcome at the end of them.

Of course.  But just ask the Lions and Packers what a shut down defense in the second half would mean.  Just ask the Texans, Titans, and Niners of four years ago what a lack of second half defense means.  Just like we give praise to QBs who can make last minute game winning drives, we can also give credit to defenses who shut down the other team in crunch time.

Who'd have thunk even last year we'd get to the superbowl this way.
