West 6,713
Agree DH....They are on a path to another Championship. I see 1-2 more Free Agents after the draft. Andy and his system does not put rookies in the mix unless they are unbelievable.

Tell that to McDuffy, Karlaftis, Crennel, Williams, Watson, and Pacheco. 🙂 SEMO
West 6,713
McDuffie played the second half of his rookie year. Same for Karlaftis...Frank Clack mentored George if you recall. I did not think Romeo Crennel played for the Chiefs? Watson was a role player in the secondary and the WR Watson was a journeyman. Pacheco was a back up for awhile and went into the lineup when he was able to pass protect and injuries. It takes time for rookies to play under Andy
Thegoatee 1,780
I’d draft LT, RB, WR, DE, CB, and S as best player available each round.

Our current DEs will be stellar if we get a stud DT to pair with Jones. I'm hoping we get one in the first 3 rounds.

No pass rush, but he would tie up double teams and give Jones a better shot plus be tough against the run. Probably only good for 30 snaps/game and may not be able to control his weight. Would you rather get a DT that could provide some QB pressure but doesn't have the run stopping abilities or command double teams? If the Chiefs can survive until Omenihu comes back, I think they can make it without the extra pass rushing DT.

I'm looking at what the Rams did by picking Kobie Turner last year to pair with AD, and I think a similar situation would make our D completely unbearable to opposing teams. In Spags I trust, of course, for whoever they take...but to have 2 DTs that can routinely blow up the middle of the OLine would be incredible.
