In the past, you could get one for $5 at McDonalds in the KC area on red Friday (Sept. 4 this year). Not sure if it's available at all of them or not. That's 9.4.24 Flags will again be available for a minimum donation of $5 at more than 135 Kansas City- and St. Joseph-area McDonald’s restaurants with net proceeds benefiting RMHC-KC. In addition to McDonald’s, flags will be available at Kansas City-area Hy-Vee locations and at street corners and other public locations throughout the metro area. A complete map of flag sale locations will be made available prior to Red Wednesday. Flags will also be made available for $10 on shop.chiefs.com on Red Wednesday, with domestic and international shipping options available online.
