But it’s also nice to have a great back up option. Andy has always valued the back up. I still believe that the only thing derailing this 3-peat is injury, and if Pat had to be out for a few games, I trust Andy to coach up Wentz to get us through. Carson has more talent than many former backups that Andy turned in legit starters, but the next best free agent QB is Tannehill... hard pass.
