He was definitely going fast.

He may have been going fast but this whole thing was unnecessary. every one of those so called Police Officers should be fired. How quickly they escalated the situation was wrong and then they tried to rationalize it by telling Tyreek that they are people of color too as if to justify their actions because they are not white.

Seems that the obvious thing to do when pulled over for a traffic violation is just cooperate with the police and accept the ticket if the officer writes one.  What's so hard about that?  The police in this case over reacted, but it should never have gotten that far.

Respect goes both ways. Be calm, joke even with the cops and a lit of times it goes smoothly. Even if the cops then are assholes, you will be exonerated in the public view, of how you handled yourself.

always good advice but as has been shown recently some Cops just should not be on the Force

South Florida Sun Sentinel

Officer in Tyreek Hill handcuffing was suspended 6 times and had complaints of force violations, record shows

Torres was first disciplined with a written reprimand two years into his career, the report shows. In total, he was suspended six different times between 2004 and 2018, the longest being for 20 days in 2018. He was suspended for 10 days in 2019. The remaining four suspensions, between 2014 and 2016, were all for five days, the report shows.

Torres has been the subject of at least six Internal Affairs investigations between 2004 and 2018, the personnel record shows. His discipline history also includes multiple written reprimands.

In October 2014, Torres was investigated for complaints of conduct unbecoming, force violations and discourtesy. All five allegations in that complaint were sustained after the Internal Affairs investigation, the personnel record shows.

Time to fire his ass for sure. This is unacceptable for a cop let alone any employee.

Hill should have just been polite and accepted the ticket.  The officer may have been an ass, but Hill made it worse. I've had nice cars and have gotten pulled over by police for various things. I have gotten off with warnings and no tickets so many times just by being polite. It's just an ego thing, you're pissed, and you don't like how another man is talking to you, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't mean anything.
