mongo 92
The only reason he might be available is he wants MONEY. Big money. Do we have it?
Calichief 3,016
The only reason he might be available is he wants MONEY. Big money. Do we have it? I guess not. Seems like when a team wants someone, they make it happen. With our OL struggles, id say it's a priority.
eraser 722
Alex Smith shares some of the blame. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker. The receivers need to get a release off the line, and separate from their defenders sooner. I don't know if the Chiefs can afford Boone. He is holding out because he wants more money. SF said they would not trade him. I suppose anything is open for reconsideration. The Chiefs have a process. They are trying to build this team at the same time they are negotiating around a tight cap and contracts that are coming due. Dorsey has done much to bring in players. There are limitations. Some how the Chiefs will need to get Alex Smith and Justin Houston under a contract. Dorsey is underpaid, and Alex Smith is on his final year. Boone would be a nice piece in the equation. I just don't see that happening.
dhitter 1,424
Never say never I guess but I agree with eraser. Got Houston and Smith to think of first before bringing in an outsider and paying him big bucks.... As for our Oline now...they are extremely young but I see potential there. They will get better as the season progresses.
