kcallin 0
How does the idea of drafting Zach Zenner in the 3-5 round sound? The guy had a good college career and could be a steal in the 3rd.
SEMO 6,811
Third rounder on a FB? No thanks.
kccrow 529
I'd take Brandon Cottom, FB, Purdue in round 6 or 7. Zach Zenner... nah. If I'm going to take a RB in the 3rd, there are far more options I'd rather have. I'm thinking of altering my mock to include a back. Not sure though. He can be your 3rd RB, he can be a FB, he can be a H-Back. Very good at blocking in space, powerful runner, very good receiver. Basically an outstanding and versatile football player that can do quite a few things for a team. He's the modern type of FB you want because of that versatility. He isn't taking up your roster spot just to be a blocker. 6'2" 262 lbs. 4.62 Forty, Beast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsJ1mrz3ySQ
Mugsy 225
If Gurley is there when we pick, I'd run to the podium. He's the best player in this class. He's the best running back since AP. However, he'll be long gone by then....

kcallin 0
Looking at the numbers Brandon Cottom only had 436 yards and 3 touchdowns in his college career, also NFLdraftscout.com has him listed at #11 with the FB. Now the numbers for Zach Zenner college career he has 6548 yards and 61 touchdowns and is listed #2 with the FB. Zach also has a better 40 time better broad jump and a better vertical by almost 8 inches!!! 33.5" to 41" also Zach had more reps on the 225 bench. xen 1,010,220
I wouldn't touch either one of those guys with a draft pick. Maybe as a udfa.
