Collins ran a 4.48-second time in the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine and finished among the

top cornerbacks in several other drills while performing well during positional exercises.

He recently underwent surgery to repair an incomplete Jones fracture in his foot. It prevented him

from participating in LSU's pro day in March but was expected to sideline him for only about three

weeks.
