If my friends here can help out in anyway I'd appreciate it very much! I dont like the Son of a Bitch but I do have compassion for what he is going through physically & mentally. Its been a year long Good Bye for his family. SEMO 6,811 Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Sorry to hear that, Boss. My uncle was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, blood/bone marrow cancer. He is doing three experimental therapies. Last resort will be a bone marrow transplant. He has to have daily blood transfusions, as it eats his blood cells faster than he can produce them. She has extended her life by getting good treatment. The thing that really sucks about breast cancer is that you shrink it in one place and it turns up someplace else. He gets weekly blood transfusions but his last visit to the specialist revealed there is little more they can do for him. The Chemo did not work. I see him getting weaker by the day. He is a wonderful man who deserves better than this. It angers me. And to top things off I just discovered my mom has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
