AlwaysChiefs 82
Been a while since I was reading articles that went out on a limb for the Chiefs like this: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000509536/article/kansas-city-chiefs-set-to-dethrone-denver-broncos-in-afc-west Here's something not mentioned in the article - my biggest take from the AZ game. This new Chiefs team has depth like we haven't seen in a very long time. For many pre-seasons, if the Chiefs played even with the first string of the opponent, when the second and third strings came in, it was usually obvious that the Chiefs were overmatched by the bench of the opponent. Last night was the exact opposite. Our first string started slowly, but the second string, and to a lesser extent, the third string, too, dominated. That is good news for late in the season as injuries mount. I'm excited for this season.
eraser 722
John Dorsey has done a fantastic job assembling a team.
Guest Guest
Very encouraging to see the twos and threes play with some heat.
AlwaysChiefs 82
I guess it's a good thing we have the depth now. The injuries keep piling up. I was hoping after last year's rash of injuries, it was our turn to be healthy. I guess not...
