What's the deal with Ford?

I thought Dee played well and hope that he doesn't miss too much time. I noticed at least 3 plays where he had Okung completely beat, he looked stronger than anytime I remember seeing him last year. I think he would have at least 2 sacks if he wasn't up against such an elusive QB like Wilson.

Okung is a solid technician guy that doesn't move so well after so many injuries.

Still a good LT but I could see why someone like Ford would give him fits in a vanilla scheme.

He's showing improvement. That's what's important. I remember year 3 when hali converted to olb, a lot of Chief fans were writing hali off saying he'll never be more than a marginal linebacker. What did he have, like 2 or 3 sacks that year?

Hali didn't actually transition to OLB until 2009,when he had a career season...at that time. He played LB here and there very sparingly as a rookie.

He had terrible seasons in between because he was constantly banged up.

Tamba was a complete pass-rusher that had a small tumble because people didn't fully love his underwear olympics numbers.

Dee Ford was a potentials player that has a nice first step. Apples and oranges.
