PhataLerror 370
For all of you folks that ever felt that the Chiefs traded for the wrong quarterback back in 2013, you might want to brief yourself on the San Francisco box score from this week. After the 49ers' defense opened the game by stopping the Cardinals at midfield, Colin Kaepernick finished his first two drives of the game with pick-sixes, and the 49ers were down by 14 points in the first 6 minutes of the game even though the defense had given up no points. The interception return yardage on his four interceptions exceeded his passing yardage of the 9 of 19 attempts he did complete to his own players. His final passer rating was a qualified 16.7. This was Colin Kaepernick's 48th career start.
BroncoStud 3,253
Yes, he sucks royally, and the 49ers are lost without Harbaugh, they are terrible now.

PhataLerror 370
As of tonight, news has broke that Colin Kaepernick has been benched for Blaine Gabbert. After 53 career starts, it has become increasingly evident that Kaepernick was not the solution to San Francisco's woes.

PhataLerror 370
Wow. They are desperate. It's not about saving the season. It's about saving the locker room. An increasing number of players on defense and offense voiced complaints that their $15 million quarterback was completely unaccountable. I'm sure more will come out on the story once Kaepernick is no longer a 49er. It's interesting that it was Vernon Davis that was rumored to have complained about Kaepernick openly in a players-only meeting. Now Davis is no longer a 49er. I do believe that that is not a coincidence.
azchief21 5,278
Following the pattern, Kaepernick will be the next QB of the Kansas City Chiefs!
West 6,713
49ers issues start at the very top. Management is a train wreck.... Lot's of good players bailed after last season, now it has turned into a total fiasco. The New Head Coach looks like a deer in the headlights as well. w

If there were a number of players that had tuned out Harbaugh before ownership drove him out of town, why would they suddenly abandon the 49ers (or football altogether if they had years remaining on their contract) because of a change of coaching staff? That doesn't add up. Here's the easier way to connect the dots: Most of the 49ers' players were tired of playing with Kaepernick before the 2014 season ended. He was so disconnected he has been wearing head phones in and out of locker room non stop. I know that sounds like a joke but it's not.
