Sum up the Chiefs in one word. Go back as far as you want or, stay here, present day. Mine is...INCONSISTENT. Unless and until the "in" of the word leaves, we have what we have. Assign blame? Plenty of names to go around, aren't there? You know there are.

The Chiefs are like a box of chocolates. ...? That seems apt. It's been apt too many seasons/decades! So, who is there to see about this? Here's a good place to start: Why, in a half century has there been no homegrown franchise quarterbacks? What are the odds on that issue?

I don't know but they have to be way up there.

There was a time in '69-'71 when things were really humming. Will those times return? Odds say they should. Let's close on that.
