FANATIC 852
Would have been a game worth going to on paper - before the season started of course. Looks like a lot of Chief fans sold their tickets?

PhataLerror 370
An interesting fact about the Lions this year: The Lions have received the opening kickoff in seven out of eight games this season. On their opening drive of the game, the Lions' offense has averaged 3 points per drive. Until today, the Lions' opponents have averaged 1.9 points per drive on their first drive of the game. The Chiefs kicked up that average a bit by putting a touchdown on the board. The Lions have yet to win a game in 2015 in which their opponent scored a touchdown on the opening drive. FANATIC 852
How did that sack happen? Awesome.....Record still within reach. Get Excited C The NFL Record and Fact Book lists this as the record under “Most Times Sacked, Season”: 76: David Carr, Houston, 2002 72: Randall Cunningham, Philadelphia, 1986 68: David Carr, Houston, 2005
PhataLerror 370
It looks like this game might be a slopfest. Whose defense can win the game?
PhataLerror 370
Awesome.....Record still within reach. Get Excited Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith has been sacked 18 times this year, meaning he’s on pace to get his name in the record books, and not in a way he’d want. Smith is currently on pace to get sacked 72 times this season. That’s a pace that only one quarterback in NFL history has topped. The NFL Record and Fact Book lists this as the record under “Most Times Sacked, Season”: 76: David Carr, Houston, 2002 72: Randall Cunningham, Philadelphia, 1986 68: David Carr, Houston, 2005 Thanks for the outdated statistic following week four, but that didn't say much. Slider 2
Maybe we'll have some decent third down efficiency this game. But Smith looks like he has poor field vision right now.
PhataLerror 370
Wow... Kaepersmith? Hahahahaha... Smith will be amazing when he learns the nuances of pocket quarterbacking. He just needs a little time... ...for a General Manager that can get him an offensive line that can create a pocket.

PhataLerror 370
During the 2015 season, the Chiefs are 1-0 in games where they scored two touchdowns on their first three offensive drives.
PhataLerror 370
It would be nice to see the Chiefs' defense leverage an early 11 point lead. If they could get two sacks in the first quarter, they really ought to start eating up the Lions' offensive line.

PhataLerror 370
Another completion for a first down on third down. The Chiefs are moving the ball and controlling the clock. This is looking more and more like the Texans game. As I mentioned numerous times before, the offensive line doesn't have to be stellar with Smith. If the defense does its job, and if Smith's ball-carrying teammates aren't fumbling away possessions, this team can win enough games to get into the post-season. It would be nicer for the Chiefs to finish off the NFL's post-season with a Super Bowl victory just as the Royals are gearing up for Spring Training in preparation to defend their World Series Title.
