Paycut: Alex Smith (Needs to take a steep base salary cut) Sign OT Mitchell Schwartz (I think Cleveland lets him walk, and I think the Chiefs should pay him top dollar) DL Mike Daniels (Will need some depth on DL) Draft: 1. Connor Cook, QB Michigan State Even with the winning streak, I still think the Chiefs will look long and hard at building the replacement for Alex. The Chiefs will be somewhere in the middle of the round, which would be right about ideal slot wise for Cook. 2. Sebastian Tretola, OG Arkansas Ben Grubbs is finished as a player. 3. Kevon Seymour, CB USC A long, aggressive corner. They will be ridiculously thin at corner when Sean Smith goes, so they will need to add to the spot. 4. Josh Garnett, OG Stanford And here's the final piece to the completely rebuilt O-Line. Garnett should be a Day 1 starter at RG. 5. Jonathan Williams, RB Arkansas Load up on RB a little more. 6. Jordan Lucas, DB Penn State Need to add some more fresh talent. 7. Tyler Johnstone, OT Oregon Will need to add another depth player as Stephenson will probably be leaving in FA. Poe still has one year left as the Chiefs picked up the option. I do think they keep Howard over Poe though. Maybe a slight chance they both stay, depending how much they both cost. We will see.
