qnet 1,150
I'm not sold. Haven't been. Especially for a number 1 Yeah, he's definitely not living up to where he was drafted. Wasnt he playing injured? I'm not sure.
wilkie 1,518
Khalil Mack is a top ten pass rusher. Maybe the best player on the Oakland defense. If you rewatch the way the offensive linemen were trying to plant their feet, it was pretty obvious to me that the wet turf conditions were really bothering the O line. Does that excuse the play? Somewhat. Two of our starters were out. I have been critical of the O line since preseason but I will give them credit. They hung in there. It was most certainly not a pretty day but it does illustrate Alex Smith has capability to throw the ball down the field when the offensive line does hold up as it did in Buffalo. He needs to work on the long pass. While Maclin had 9 catches, the combined total of all the other wide receivers on the Chiefs team was one. An out pass to Albert Wilson. Sad to say but Wilson was actually open several times and Alex did not look for him. The one long pass he threw to Wilson was an overthrow after Wilson had beaten his man. But what the hell. It ALWAYS feels good to beat the Raiders and in the Black Hole no less. I looked for Gil but didn't see him. Boss was there too. They saw a good game. A typical KC / Oakland game. liquidfriend 1,151
Wilson is a poor ball tracker, so I don't think I really fault Alex for looking elsewhere.

Hooked up with Boss for a couple shots before the game. http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Harv_Gilchrist/media/e58557b1-4822-4d59-8fb4-10aad2149311_zpskzuqnroc.jpg.html?filters[user]=133251159&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Harv_Gilchrist/media/6a33c1a8-a213-48df-aa01-0da7401d3b90_zpsmf06twgg.jpg.html?filters[user]=133251159&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1 http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Harv_Gilchrist/media/12341609_10208305677542904_6792979902281748851_n_zpsh05x0ow1.jpg.html?filters[user]=133251159&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=2 http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Harv_Gilchrist/media/e2919c46-d006-4485-a7a4-af3f09333ac2_zpsb0wdydit.jpg.html?filters[user]=133251159&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=3 http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Harv_Gilchrist/media/7e378a5f-a7c6-4843-98c2-515bb287f741_zps91ktihos.jpg.html?filters[user]=133251159&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=
KCSLC2008 606
Coaching Error of the Week. Kansas City and Oakland tied at 20-20, the Chiefs faced second-and-10. Kansas City showed trips right; the Raiders lined up two defensive backs across from the three wide receivers. Seeing this, Alex Smith quick-snapped and threw sideways; Jeremy Maclin walked in for an untouched touchdown. Raiders coaches saw the same thing Smith saw. Why didn’t they call a timeout? http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/12/09/upshot/the-non-quarterback-non-running-back-heisman.html?_r=0&referer=https://www.google.com/
Guest kcxiv
Sorry but Jeff Allen being out doesn't excuse Fisher getting his shit ate by Khalil Mack. this had alot to do with the horrible field thaat is in oakland. Look on a few of them bullrushes that fisher got pushed back into, when he tries to plant his foot just fucking slides because of how horrible the field is. There is nothing one can do when he cant even plant his foot into the ground. Its like being in socks trying to block someone on tile. Its not gonna happen. They even showed during the game how fucking awful the field was.
jetlord 10,209
It's good that the Chiefs beat the Bills who hardly ever put pressure on Smith and then turned around and had a couple of good drives against the Raider when they sent a rush on nearly every play. Just wish the Chiefs could get a healthy line and become more consistent.
