eraser 722
Rivers will always get great stats. Those do not always equate to wins. He reminds me of Dan Marino. Considering Rivers played behind Drew Brees for two years, he really has only played 10 full years out of the 12 he was on the roster. Marino started his rookie season, but throw that out, and he played 16 full seasons. Taking his averages over those 10 years, he is on pace to break this record by 5600 yards. Rivers has thrown more touch downs per attempt, about half as many interceptions, and has a better quarterback rating. Marino has been to the Super Bowl, and lost to Montana. Otherwise, Rivers has been a better quarterback for his team.
PhataLerror 370
For the record, I have considered Rivers an excellent quarterback consistently held back by bad teams or badly coached teams.

He's great. But his whining ruins it. I agree with your assessment to the T.
