kccrow 529 Posted December 27, 2015 Share Posted December 27, 2015 I'm not all that worried about Zombo, really. He's a guy that would probably be an 8 sack guy if he ever started a full season. He's put good games on tape. Ford is probably worse at this juncture than Zombo but he's a 1st round pick in serious need of meaningful reps, so the Chiefs almost had to go that direction when Houston went down. Ford has steadily improved. I think that KC can generate adequate pressure with these two guys. I think you get a better cover OLB in Zombo than you get from any of Hali, Houston, or Ford, as well, which might prove to be useful against an extremely talented offensive line that might negate the pass rush to a large extent anyhow.
