Holmes4six! 968
Does anyone know who we have on there? I can't remember but who was the WR in preseason that lite it up? Do we still have him? Thinking if Chiefs have some things up there sleeve for the playoff game.

eraser 722
I cannot see Andy Reid adding a practice squad player to his team in order to field punts.
jetlord 10,209
I cannot see Andy Reid adding a practice squad player to his team in order to field punts. Why not? Hammond has fumbled two and not lit it up with return yards.
eraser 722
Why not? Hammond has fumbled two and not lit it up with return yards. The two prospects have been on and off the practice squad this year. They have never played in a regular season NFL game. Now, one week from the playoffs, during the final game, this is the time to trot one of them out there to field punts? It doesn't work that way, typically. Hammond has had problems. He may be our best hope going forward. Unless Maclin (two concussions this year already) is being offered as a sacrifice to head injuries, I think we will see Hammond out there fielding punts again this Sunday. Someone tweeted Jacoby Jones would be an ideal pick up to field punts, and he is available because he was released. I wouldn't bring him in here. Hammond has had trouble fielding a couple of punts. Jacoby Jones has been horrible, and has coughed up the ball several times. The options are limited this time of the year. I bet they try to keep the roster as it is for now. Holmes4six! 968
Thanks everyone. I like what Williams can bring to the offense. I also agree this is probably not the time.
