oldtimer 8,686 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Bowe is the 2nd leading pass catcher in Chiefs History..yea I know go figure..hardly a Tony Mandarich. he was force fed pass's when the D+ QBs had no other option.. i think our frustration is that we wanted a Megatron and got a Spongbob. My frustration is not so much Bowe but the extended contract he got. he took the $$ like anyone of us would. IMHO he needed a special kind of Coach. I agree agree with OT, he's needed a certain kind of coach, like Haley. He was the only one besides maybe Herm Edwards, that ever got anything out of him. His blocking was great, but he always dropped easy catches, even in some games where he made other catches that were good. I was very happy to see him go. Hammond may have trouble holding onto his roster spot. DAT is likely gone. The Chiefs have three receivers on the roster (Maclin, Conley, and Wilson), who will be on the team next year.
