I remember all the stress and anxiety we all had waiting on draft picks to sign, now, it's just a formality. Huge positive move if you ask me. Some don't like the "pay your dues" approach to the rookie wage scale, but early-round picks that busted placed a tremendous burden on franchises. They get paid better than most people starting their first day on the job. Fighting over money during rookie contract negotiations was always a slap in the face to the franchises that selected them.
