Cuts from the Chiefs

Recommended Posts

After tonight

Aaron Murray may want to brush up on Arena League Football rules

Seriously, there were a lot of players who did not play well. The first cuts come soon. August 26th, teams must be down to 75 players It will not be long before the final cuts are here. August 30th, the rest of the blood bath takes place.

Still, even then, if a player is not within the top 48 players, Dorsey has shown a willingness to make changes when the opportunity strikes.

I haven't seen a suitable return specialist, but Knile Davis is probably gone.

I would like to hear what others think as well.

Knile Davis has been a dead man walking. He needed to have an outrageous preseason to have a chance just to drum up trade value. Instead he goes away for nothing.

He didn't fumble tonight, but that wasn't enough to keep him in Kansas City.

I actually thought Murray had a nice game except for the fumble. He didn't hurt himself IMO.

March didn't cement his starting spot at ILB.

Reaves is a nice back. Just no room for him.

D line got man handled on more plays than I'd like. Nice work by Conley. Bad day for Wilson.

There were two fumbles, one of which we recovered. Was the first one a bad snap or something he did/didn't do? Because even if we recover, he can learn from it if it was something he did.

I know, many out there say player X or Y isn't worth anything in a trade. However, with NE probably losing their "current" starting RB is it time to play the supply and demand card? Remember they don't have luxury of relying on Brady for the first 4 games and everyone knows a good running game helps out a new and inexperienced QB.

Would agree with all that. Conley finally translated his good practice days to the field. Looked good.

Was disappointed in march.

Yeah Dorsey needs to trade a RB. Don't care which one. Except ware. He's off limits.

Berry will play....Hali will play....

The real key is how quickly Mr. Houston returns.

I think it's pretty unlikely he comes back at all this season or post season. Reid and Dorsey both made points to say "if he comes back" last week in interviews. It's unlike them to speak that way about injuries.

Trade Charles, this team has moved on from him.

I am torn on this one, JC has done everything the chiefs have asked from him but these injuries are going to take something away from his game and i fear his

best days are behind him. my emotions say no to trading one of our cornerstones which is why i would never be a good GM or Coach because it is a business

and i forget that :(

If it's possible to trade a player that's going to get cut, Dorsey will get it done.

This is the same guy that traded Javier fucking arenas for the best fullback in the nfl. That's a miracle right there. I know fullback is way devalued, but come fucking on...

I'd forgotten that. There is somebody with low miles and a ton of talent. I would be after him if I was some of these teams.
