Practice Squad Signings

Recommended Posts

The Chiefs announced the final signings to the practice squad, including inside linebacker Tyrell Adams,

receiver Seantavius Jones, running back Darrin Reaves, safety Brock Vereen and center/guard Daniel Munyer

Analysis: Adams, Jones and Reaves all flashed throughout camp, while Vereen is a former fourth-round pick only two years ago

who was recently claimed off waivers. The Chiefs want to get a long look at him. He and Hammond will be the two practice-squad

“veteran” exceptions. Munyer is a player the Chiefs invested time in last year on the practice squad. His return makes sense

Munyer was added to the regulars today. I wonder if another team showed interest. I thought Pughsley was slightly better, but Munyer did show some promise.

I expect this practice squad to be very fluid. Hammond, King, Reaves, Adams, and Vereen are good enough to play for a lot of NFL teams.

I have high hopes for Shakiel Randolph. He isn't as sudden as one would hope, but he is fast enough as a 6'31/2" FS.
