The NFL is trying to control the players, so that they don't have another incident, but it is taking some of the energy out of the game. Currently, this is the way they feel they have to run the game. Peters is an emotional player. This emotion is a double sided sword. He is better than his tangible physical ability because of this emotion. He is also harmed by his emotions as well. I said this last week. His emotions took him out of the game due to an off the field knuckle head (BLM social warrior - Shaun King). Peters needs that energy, but he needs to know when to restrain it, and when to bring it out. On physical skills, Gaines is a better corner. He is about the same size, and has the same vertical. However, Gaines is quicker, faster, and has looser hips. Peters is great because of the anticipation, and the gamesmanship within the game. Schwarz is having trouble with a guy that most players have trouble with, and this guy has revenge on his mind. This game was circled and underlined on the calendar. I am not surprised at this point of the game. The Chiefs can still win, but they will not win easily. The breaks can change and go the other way. Many times, you make your own breaks. The announcers wondered why the Chiefs were slow at getting the offense going. Well, the Chiefs are in poor position on the field, and the Texans are controlling the line right now. West made a burst on a conservative play. Now the Chiefs have room to operate, and will start conserving the clock. Anyone want to bag on Chark now?
