A fumble is a fumble is a fumble. You either hang on to the ball or you do not. If the ball comes out and another guy jumps on it, its a fumble. Now we don't know exactly what a fumble is. What is a completed pass. What is an interception. What is a touchdown. If the ball crosses the goal line...any part of the ball... it is a touchdown.
