KCSLC2008 606 Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 The Chiefs just announced that A. Smith passed all concussion protocol after the 2nd hit as well. It was reported incorrectly and he was held out for the remainder of the game with the game not too much in doubt. The Dr. in the press conference for the Chiefs used the analogy of a boxer getting knocked out. Often times they have no damage to the brain nor a concussion even tho he's been knocked out with a blow to the face/head. With how cautious Reid and the Chiefs have been in the past with head injuries I find this to be astonishing but I believe that he doesn't have one, because they are known for being overly cautious about head injuries.
