azchief21 5,278
We're thinking about going over for the SD vs Chiefs season finale and are looking for tickets. Interesting dilemma. What if the Chiefs are locked in and rest the starters? On one hand we wouldn't see many of the stars play but on the other hand it's the Chiefs live! liquidfriend 1,151
The Chiefs will be fighting to keep the division title and/or top seed. I wouldn't worry about the game being a throw away. Even if it is, doesn't mean SD will win lol
Gil 243
If you've never been to Qualcomm, be warned. It's a dump. Getting into the lot is ridiculously long. Tailgating is terrible. I was at a season finale there a few years ago when Knile and Chase started for us because we were resting everyone. We lost. The only good thing about it was the fact that I was in SD in January. andysredflag 7
I would recommend checking out www.aviewfrommyseat.com prior to purchasing tickets at Qualcomm, particularly if you're sitting lower level. You will notice that the further back you go, often the higher the ticket price. There is a reason for this. Lots of obstructed views in this stadium. Also, I would recommend sitting on the home sideline rather than the Chiefs sideline. I attended last year and sat lower level Chiefs sideline, and the sun was in our face until midway through the 4th quarter. It was so unrelenting and miserable that it basically ruined the game for us. I didn't experience any issues with parking. Getting in was easier than getting out, but neither were bad, and I was on the highway within 30 minutes of the game ending.
