Kelce is stating the obvious and I support it. The entire locker room knows it too. REID needs to give up play calling or HUnt needs to dismiss him after the season.

So if everybody on the team states the obvious, you'll support that? That would be fun to watch. A disaster but fun to watch.

Much like todays game. Not much fun to watch. Yes someone needs to call Reid out this is been far too long coming. Simply let anyone, maybe even you, call the plays.

And I don't care if he lights it up next week, but I think Ramik Wilson is soft as hell and doesn't belong on this squad.

He won't get physical enough that your ILBs in a one gap 3 man front need to be. He should have been drafted to a 4-3 squad.

Poe is only a fraction of what one was and Jones is wearing down as a rookie which is understandable. Ford looks mortal going against a LT, the Guards are weak and Chiefs still have a need at WR.

Dorsey needs to worry less about filling every hole this offseason and focus on finding good longterm playmakers. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Get aggressive and move up to get some great talent.

I agree with most of this except the WR. Can't evaluate them with the terribly inconsistent smith...

The CAP is going to be difficult to manage next year. Berry, and Poe will not both fit. This is our year. The Chiefs have no one at ILB. Justin March-Lillard was an UFA, and provides the Chiefs with the greatest hope to replace Derrick Johnson. Johnson suffered his third blown Achilles tendon. Not many return from one, and now he will attempt to return from a second on the same leg, and he is two years older. Even if Johnson can return to the level of play he exhibited before the injuries, it is not enough. The defense has been anemic against the run before Johnson's injury.

Alex Smith is hot and cold. Last week he was amazing (for the first half). This was not so this time. He was colder than the ice on the  parking lot. His passes sailed, or were behind receivers. One of the only things that worked was hand off to Tyreek Hill, who raced 68 yards to the end zone. As amazing as that moment was, nothing much else happened on offense. Hill failed to gather in a slightly overthrown pass from Smith. Then, he disappeared, as if he were being mothballed for another game. Maclin gained a few yards on passes. Conley had some targets, but where was Kelce? As if Reid were punishing Travis for being taken out of context by Fake News sports hack, Florio, he was missing. Finally collecting 3 passes for 41 yards. Tyreek Hill was blanked on receptions. His counterpart, DAT, snagged 1 pass for 4 glorious yards. Why is he on the team, or still getting those unproductive routes?

Still, it all came down to a missed two point play, and a field goal. Had the titans made that 2 point conversion, is there a doubt the Chiefs would have  been unable to get into position to win with a field goal? The Titans got their chance, and moved down the field against a porous defensive line. With seconds remaining, Mariota spiked the ball. One chance on a cold field for Succop (who was replaced in KC, because he did not have a booming leg. A 53 yard attempt, and it went right through, only it did not go over the goal post. It was short. Normally, this is where we celebrate another close win. However, this time, Andy Reid did one extra move. He called time out, and the Titans' kicker got another shot. With nothing left to lose, Succop gathered the extra juice, and would have made it from 55. He only needed 53. The Chiefs lost, and Tennessee got a reprieve. Now, the Chiefs will be chasing a spot in the playoffs, when we thought they were sure to have a bye week. Two more losses, and they will be on the outside looking in.

Second blown*

Without any moves, yes the Chiefs are in rough shape.  They have lots of flexibility to get themselves into much better shape since they are in much better shape after 2017 and they can get under the cap with very simple roster moves.

I think the Chiefs should build for the long-term instead of trying to patch together this '88 Corsica for another run.  It's not going to work.

Get a qb.

It's hard to root for this team. Raiders are home for Colts and at Broncos. The Chiefs would have to win their last two and hope Raiders lose at Denver. But it's impossible to put any stock in what the Chiefs will or won't do. They make zero sense.

Because it's an absolute embarrasment to lose at home after having a week and a half off. Inexcusable, that's weak.

and that has me wondering if it is better for this team to have a bye (IF we still win the West) because

it may be better if we keep playing rather than sit back and get that sluggish lazy type of play that we

seem to get late in the season, which makes it strange that we can play so well after the normal bye week

during the season but have a history of letdowns late season or in the playoffs

Convinced this team is a better road team than home team.
