DefensiveMan 758
Bub, we're tired of Pro Bowls as you can see on this board. We want a damn Super Bowl.
KC Warpaint 3,235
Nine Chiefs have been named alternates to the Pro Bowl, including quarterback Alex Smith. Others on the list: offensive tackle Eric Fisher, outside linebackers Dee Ford and Justin Houston, defensive lineman Dontari Poe, inside linebacker Derrick Johnson, special teams standout D.J. Alexander, punter Dustin Colquitt and kicker Cairo Santos. KC Warpaint 3,235
this blows my mind how Smith and Houston made it (even as alternates) Smith is obviously not having a great season stat wise, did all the other QBs say no because it is not a free trip to Hawaii this year? Houston has barely played, did he make it on name alone? as Dman said, i would rather that these guys are in Houston the week before instead of settling for Orlando and the Pro Bowl
Bub 20
It's a popularity contest. The All Pro team is the real honor IMO.

No one has refused yet, not even the original players. Reports were that he was an alternate last year and he declined when the starter declined. azchief21 5,278
Smith hasn't reached 3000 yds yet and has 12 TDs. Houston has been in the training room. Pro Bowl is a joke.
