Chiefsfan1963 1,101
This had been talked about on local radio stations for the past month. Speculation is Smellway is forcing him out under the "for health reasons" excuse. The rumor is that Smellway wanted to see more of Lynch and Kubiak didn't agree with him. The reason he wasn't fired for this is due to PR. How can you fire a SB winning head coach with a winning record and who had lost a lot of starters from the previous year? SEMO 6,811
Elway didn't give him the RB or the oline to run his style of offense.
Chiefsfan1963 1,101
Elway didn't give him the RB or the oline to run his style of offense. That was also talked about, but his ego won't allow him to say that.
liquidfriend 1,151
That normally would sound silly all things considered, but Elway is a fucking rat. I'd believe it.
Chiefsfan1963 1,101
Smellway traded back in to the 1st round to pick Lynch because he believes that Lynch looked like him, heard it on local radio.
KC Warpaint 3,234
if any shred of this is true then Elway's ego will be the cause of the Denver's slide to mediocrity
