Brees just reached a contract extension with the New Orleans Saints . He does have an out, but not until after 2 years, and the contract contains $44.25 M in guarantees. We would know this is 100 percent short short short term meaning they would at least have to look for a QBOTF for him to sit behind a veteran like romo.
