NChiefsCorner 496
I would like to see the Chiefs draft Kevin King CB Washington 6'3" 200lbs 4.43, I read that he didn't allow a TD at all during the 2016 season and only 1 TD in his last 28 games, also he is suppose to be a better player than Marcus Peters, sounds like a good pick to me. dhitter 1,424
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/kevin-king?id=2557996 Hmmm...doesn't even sound like the same player you are describing.
NChiefsCorner 496
Look at his film, he allowed 1 TD in 101 targets and he played all 4 DB positions, his versatility makes him sound even better.
jetlord 10,209
It would be shocking if King went in the first round. Pass on him unless he falls to the third.

DefensiveMan 758
A lot of mock drafts have him going to the Raiders in late 20s.
dhitter 1,424
I don't know enough about the kid to make an assessment. But it seems to me the knock on him is he has weak upper body. This is important because if he needs to jam receivers on the line how effective will he be? Has good speed but bites on fakes. Concerns about his ability to transfer game to the NFL level. But then to be fair...that should be a valid point for any college pick. The cornerback position is talented and deep this year. So I expect the Chiefs to nab one. Not sure it needs to be in Round 1 though..

NChiefsCorner 496
One website said that King is a cross between Richard Sherman and Odell Beckham, because of his height and the one hand catch he made.

ATLchief 3,126
Whomever you think they are going to pick they won't. That sure applies to me. Pretty sure I've whiffed on every 1st round pick since Dorsey/Reid have been at KC.
SEMO 6,811
I'm 2 for 4. One was Fisher, though. Everyone new they were taking him. Other was Peters. Sidenote: Don't be shocked if it is DeShaun Watson.

NChiefsCorner 496
I would like to see a QB pick, but I think it is more important to get a good CB to go with all of the Raiders WR talent.
liquidfriend 1,151
We need to exercise some patience with the guys we have with potential. Wilson has flashed some potential and we have a younger player in Mitchell that showed some worth at CB2. Although I'm not as high on him, Conley should be given some time also. Lets replace what we know is broken (elephant rusher, QB, 3rd rb spot, TE depth chart).
NChiefsCorner 496
Elephant rusher - Elijah Qualls, QB - Patrick Mahomes II, RB - Joe Mixion and TE depth Jeremy Sprinkle.

Vonschnitz 130
Have to keep trying to hit on a QB...unless we like only coming close to a championship for half a century.
xen 1,010,220
Can you define what you're referring to as the elephant rusher? Chiefs don't usually play an elephant position ala Pete Carroll but rather just WOLB and SOLB. The SOLB would be where hali and Ford are so I assume that's what we are referring to. Most times the elephant is synonymous with the Leo position Carroll uses. Usually it's on the weakside though is it not? Either way I don't see how qualls is remotely qualified to play any olb position in a 34.
