Chiefs get all off-season to prepare. 2. Chiefs get 10 days before Week 2. 3. The rest of the year's schedule is easier. 4. 8 of the next 15 would be at home. Negs: 1. Patriots get all off season to prepare. 2. A loss would give Chiefs 10 days before we'd get the chance to get over Week 1. 3. It's the Freakin' Patriots. 4. We don't get to play a lot of Browns or Niners type teams. Personally I'm okay with that. If you wanna be ready for the playoffs you need to have faced playoff caliber competition. I did notice Teicher has the Chiefs going 11-5 and repeating as AFC West champs. That would be amazing since the Chiefs have never won the division 2 years in a row in their history;. Also the Denver beat writer has the Broncos going 10-6 Oakland writer has the Raiders at 11-5 Chargers writer has them finishing 9-7. That would be a heck of a season for the AFC West right there.
