Honestly I was thinking 11-5 previously. I could be wrong , but this year might be a setback now that Maclin and now Dorsey have gone. I say 9-7 after the fact.

Assuming healthy players stay healthy and injured players come back healthy, I think the Chiefs lose a game off the season record for not having Maclin, and I'm extremely skeptical about their chances of competing in a Super Bowl.

AFC West sewed up in week 14. Mahomes gets the start in the season finale and beats Denver.

We are not as good as we were a year ago.   9 and 7...maybe 10 and 6.   I think DJ's Achilles is going to adversely affect his play.  Haven't found our second cornerback.  Haven't solved our ILB problem on the other side.  Lost our Z receiver.  Lost 2/3 of our defensive line.   Oakland takes two from us and wins the division.

Can we replace 44 receptions, 536 yards and 2 tds that Maclin gave us last year with other receivers this year? We damn well better! If we can't replace that production then we aren't going to be a very good team.

 

As far as Dorsey goes...I agree that next year is more likely to reflect his absence. But then again...it might depend on who replaces him.

Good thing Dorsey doesn't play on Sundays. Letting him fo may have been the best thing for the Chiefs. It sounds like he was a shitty administrator and looking at some of the moves lately I could see that. Not that the moves were wrong or right but the way they were done is the problem.

This upcoming season scares the crap out of me. It feels like a rebuilding year. Too much turmoil. Hope I'm wrong. Uh 9 and 7. 8 and 8. Not feeling too confident.

10-6 if Houston is healthy. Lose a heartbreaker win one on last second miracle. Looks like we have many REID short passing weapons that can make yards after the 1 yard completion.  Hope we can run the ball better and keep the defense fresh.
